No1 son has asked me to recommend an upright freezer for him,his budget is around £300:00.
As I have been retired for the past four years and have lost touch with what is good or not

    Hi Paul

What sort of physical dimensions is he looking at?

Size is not a problem,he has plenty of room to house it in his utility room.
I think the larger cubic capacity [within his budget] will be best.

    Hi Paul

Probably the best around that budget is the Gorenje F6311 has a two year warranty and the service will be through a local agent should anything go wrong. These apart he would need to up the budget considerably to something like a Bosch or a Liebherr.

He’d be doing very well to get a Gorenje F6311W for £300 …. more like £400 now!!

😳 that`s what happens when you have a holiday 😆 , they did have some on special at DAD but they have since been cleared ,now as you say £379 odd retail :rolls:

In that case then the Indesit UFAN400 which is just under the 300 mark 😉 is about all I can come up with in a large freezer.

    Thanks for all the input
I was employed by the pasta barons prior to retirement so I will keep well away from anything built by them.

    Hi Paul

In that case then coming in just over budget is the Beko TZDA629FW, not bad bits of kit in the price range.
