ParticipantI have an AEG Competence B4100-1-M PNC 944-181-739 which is 6 years old now
Problem One
It is exhibiting exactly the same problem as outlined by people here .. Oven appears to function correctly, but after 15 minutes or so cooking, it clicks off, and stops working until everything has cooled down.If at all possible can anyone confirm if the 8996619267611 Thermal cut-out kit is applicable to my model number.
Problem Two
The other problem i’ve has but not really worried about is the clock not working. Its not been working for over 3 years now.Can someone advise on how to fix this as sometimes the clock appears then dissappears withing seconds?
Problem Three
Finally the third problem that have had for over three years is that the fan oven had not been heating so i had been using setting for top and bottom heat with internal fan.If at all possible can anyone confirm if 14106 Fan Oven is applicable to my model number. If not please advise
Many many thanks in advance for any advice
regards

Hi,
Yes the 8996619267611 cooling fan control should sort out your issue with the machine cutting out and it does fit that model.
And you are also correct with the fan oven element 14106 from the link, is the correct one.
The clock is ludicrously expensive to replace as they mostly all are. On a quick search about £100, which is a bit much if you don’t need it for the oven to actually work.

ParticipantRe: AEG Oven Cutting Out- NOW WORKING
Thanks to everyone that have created threads and replied on this subject.
Just to let you know, i ordered parts on Sunday which were delivered on Wednesday.
It took my an hour in total to replace both parts which i felt was slow. It can easily be done in half an hour. It was fairly easy to replace them, all i needed was a screwdriver and pliers.
😀 Oh and i’ve saved myself about £50-£75 in labour. 😀
Kind Regards
