    Calling on Wednesday to an old customer with the above machine, He has reported the fault as: Soon after fill starts the machine stops dead and the rinse light flashes. Have never called out to many Miele machines so was wondering if there is anything I should check first?.

    Should think its carbon brushes , rinse light indicates drum action fault.

    Thanks Clayside was thinking Brushes, What are they like to test and change? Can you do them from the front with the front panel open and is the motor wired the usual way 3 or 4 pairs on the connector block and more importantly are patten brushes available 😆
