I am having problems with a Diplomat (Whirlpool) ADP8500 dishwasher.
At the start of any programme the machine will pump as usual but when it stats to fill the pump pulses on and off for several minutes and then the programme starts. The customer reports that this ‘pulsing’ can happen mid programme and then the programme continues. Any ideas?

I’ve got a Whirlpool d/w unfortunately and had this happen. The tube that feeds the top spray arm comes out of its seat behind the bottom spray arm so I had to fix with Debor and it hasn’t happened since and the wash is much better.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that’s not the case with this machine. The tube you mention is in place. I’ve had so many of these it’s one of the first things I look for. Thanks again. GCK

Which pump is pulsing; drain or circulation?

    It is the drain pump.
