8, 11 12 and 16 way fitted to that machine. You will need to count the cables (Gias wouldn’t supply me until I counted the cables; and still got it wrong twice. 😈 )
If you need a 16 way or an 8 way, I have both in stock new and unused for a CMD146. You can’t go by the model number or the ‘3100’ number – count the cables.
PM your address if you want them.Steve.

Needed 12 way cable so ordered from Gias.
What turned up was “12 way cable connecter”, just the plastic pcb connector without any cable. Got onto Gias and after some tooing and throwing they said they would call me back after they had spoken to the “technical guys”. They later rung me back and said you can only get the ribbon cables by buying the whole wiring harness at £69. This cant be right surely?Subs

The cables are available separately – but by the time I had what I needed, they had sent me several different sizes and lengths. Gias are unbelievably useless – if they don’t know what is fitted to their own machines, we have no chance. 😥 Best of luck!!

Ended up repairing the damaged ribbon cable myself, as dealing with Gias was just too much hassle. Bit like micro surgery (i imagine). Machine is all working fine and customer is happy (landlord with a few propertys) and also aware of the problems with Gias so wont be buying Hoover again.
