ParticipantWas at Neff K4511X0GB/01 Fridge today needed hinges part n/o 268698, logged into my laptop connected up went on neff site to get part n/o, logged into connect found the part at £26.68 plus vat selling price £39 i quoted them this plus the postage to hubby, little did i know mrs customer was logged onto eezespares with the part n/o i found, quoting me £29.99 plus postage, total £34.50 i replied fine you buy the parts and enjoy lugging the thing out to fit them cheerio. jj

Found them on masterpart for £19 customer now wants me to order and fit, i’ll make a little profit but not much, oh! how i love the the internet????????

I am fitting these hinges on a K4463X fridge freezer on friday, does the appliance have to come out to do this job?. I didnt thinnk so when I had a look but never done this job before.Also I am charging £93 parts and labour. I normally charge more for built in appliances.

It can be done without moving the m/c.
I never give customers part no`s, just the prices.
Always charge a callout, it gets rid of time wasters.
Too much info can be dangerous.

we never fit parts not supplied by ourselves if something goes wrong under warranty ,the customer will still expect you to fit the parts for nothing and then insinuate its the way you fitted them as the reason for failure :rolls:
