Hi… I’ve got a Whirlpool ADP5966 whose base keeps flooding..(causing the light to flash twice). Anyway, I’ve followed your advice (tipped the dishwasher to empty the tray) and this works 😀 but it keeps happening 🙁 I’m wondering whether the drainage hose is blocked. I’ve disconnected it from under the sink and can’t see any blockage… I tried blowing down the hose and I can’t. Does this mean it’s blocked… and if so where is the blockage likely to be / how can I un-block it. Or is it normal to not be able to blow down the hose. Can you help…?

you need to get front base cover off and observe where water is coming into base most likely cause is the wash motor, the hose normally perishes and leaks on them, get down ther with a torch but remember to unplug from mains
