Machine is only 4 months old but customer thinks the repair would not be covered under the guarantee. A bra wire has made a hole in the tub rear half. The half tub does seem to be available from connect but does it come with the original size bearings or do you have to convert to the 35mm shaft like on the WF washing machines? I’m not actually doing the job but have recommended initially trying to weld the hole with a soldering iron.

Almost certain that machine will have the 35mm shaft & bearings in it already, it only shows the 35mm drum in the parts list.
That must have been some bra wire, never seen one go through a Hotpoint drum before. 😯
