ParticipantHi
Our BWD 129 gets through the wash cycle but then seems to hang during the first rinse/spin, failing while it is pumping out water. Lights 2 & 4 start flashing along with the Start button.
I’ve checked obvious things like the filter and the hose for blockages but water drains without issue (i did find a couple of my husband’s collar stays in the filter though…).
Is this something I can fix myself?
Thanks!

Participant2 and 4 is f05
which is pressure switch stuck on full

check BOTH hoses , the black sump and the grey outlet hose for obstructions, particularly were the sump meets the tub, theres a ball in there were stuff gets stuck
it may well be emptying, but is it fast enough??
hope this helps

thanks very much – will check that out today. I did think it was probably draining more slowly than it should have been but without a basis for comparison i wasn’t certain!

found and removed a sock which was the likely culprit. however, have just tried running another load and the same error code appears. the only difference is there’s very little or no water draining at all.
I tried the pump out program (which had worked fine to get the remaining water out the first time the washer failed) but now nothing happens.
any other suggestions apreciated!
many thanks

Two socks…….. 😆
Seriously, filter not located correctly; tub to pump hose twisted/kinked upon refitting; eco ball pushed up above collar can all stop it emptying. If the pump’s not actually running there may be a foreign object in the impellor itself or the wiring is disturbed from your previous work.
