    Hi all,
Our main fan over cooks unevenly (burns at back, uncooked at fornt) and after a quick check I can see that the fan is not working. For info, there is a low pitched hum (similar to a transformer hum) when the oven is turned on so not sure if it’s jammed somehow or has just packed up completely. Surprisingly, the heating element still works fine even though the fan isn’t operating. Everything else is operating as expected (top oven, cooling fan, clock display, etc)

Could anyone advise how to access the main oven fan please? After disconnection form the mains, do I need to completely pull the over out and access from the rear or can I get to it internally or from the side?

    Thanks,
    Sam

You can access the fan only by removing the rear cover in the oven cavity. To access the fan motor you will need to get the oven out and remove the rear panel.

    Power off first.
