hotpoint aqualtis 169pm

    currently flashing up f05 so cleaned out pump and hoses etc all very clean, customer just phoned up to say its doing it again is f05 def a pump out problem? not seen many of these to be honest.

    It could also relate to a Pressure Switch problem or wiring to and from it to the module. If you found nothing in the pump and drain system I would suggest that’s the next place to look. 🙂

    turned out to be an id card that was blocking the sump hose at the drum end which must have been somewhere in the drum on the first visit, always the way!

    funny that iv been caught out with a very similar thing, cant remember what card it was but it was a card stuck in the sump on recall visit after changing the pump on same model iv just checked my job history to confirm it as well Hotpoint Aqual 169.

    EVERYBODY WATCH OUT this model chews cards maybe next one i meet ill try the wifes credit card??

    The sump balls have a habit of sticking causing this as well, i normaly take them out and throw them away the customers are none the wiser. JJ
