    Hiya,

I’m a bit concerned because while the dishwasher is not failing to wash, or giving errors or beeping, it has the ‘add salt’ light lit. When I went to add salt, the salt place was full of water.

Pulled out the filters – all clean but there is smoe water in the bottom.

So, I checked the connection from the waste pipe to the sink pipe – pretty icky. Cleared that out and have run the 35 minute rapid cycle to try and clear stuff through but the salt container still has water in it and there’s still some in the bottom of the filter bit.

The dishwaher is about 6 months old.

    Is all well?

Salt container should be full of water. It will be displaced when you fill it with salt. There will always be a small amount of water under the filters.

    Nothing to worry about.
