    I have a Smeg dish washer which shows an E8 code and shuts down . Can anyone advise me regarding a cause and solution.

    E8 read error, rest and try again

    Try dissconnecting from power supply for a good few hours

    E8 is alternate valve failure

    DWI614.

    Alternator valve out of circuit. May be wiring – device has usually failed. P/no 819130468 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.
