    Hi all,
    Heater o/c. Any tips about fitting as never come across one with plastic inner base and door frame?

    PS is it part no. BSH491756 @ £84.54 at Connect? Big so and so if it is and expensive too.

    The heater unit is about £80 at BSH so you’re about right price wise from Connect (though I wouldn’t bother giving them the pleasure). BSH every time my choice.:)

    Fitting it on a plastic tub machine is easy peasy….Baseplate off and there it is…….30 minutes….sorted! 😉

    if you call bshappliancecare 08705543210 and tell them you’re trade,(paying by credit card) you’ll get 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount on your spares. Still £12 cheaper at Connect though. 😥

    There are various versions of these elements. Sometimes you can use a cheaper version and just change the ntc/stat over from the old one. It would be a great service to this community if someone/ones in a position to have all versions in stock, or turning them over regularly could take clear side by side photos of them all and post them up, maybe in a sticky?
    I tried to start this
    .here but still haven’t got round to pictures yet and this job only happens every six months for me.
