Has anyone any idea if the new “welded” vogue 4 drum will replace the previous vogue variations? The price of the new drum is £110 ish. previous drums complete are £160ish
I think the pressure chamber is part of the welded drum as opposed to the screwed drum which has it in the sump hose. Could affect fill levels unless you also changed pressure switch I’m guessing.
Welded drum also has pump at front so sump outlet is in a different place.
Thats a couple of obvious problems just looking at the diagrams.
Jim.
EDIT. I have sent you a couple of pictures that may help. 😉
Looks like the whole shooting match is different, shame really the welded drums a lot cheaper, over-priced at that :rolls: never mind it looks a good earner 😉 my customer wants me to fit one to her machine due to knackered bearings, she’s not interested in the 5 yr gtee. Might just keep one in stock then be light years ahead time wise than Hotshyte. Early bird gets the worm! as they say 😆

Thats me 😉 as they have only just started using welded tubs I would have thought they will be around a lot longer, replacing the tub with the older type isn’t exactly improving the quality of these pieces of shyte is it? 😳
