Almost 3 years old and out of guarantee. 😥
There is a faint red light glowing above the mini oven function/thermostat knob when it is in the Off position. When you switch the oven on, perversely the light goes off instead of on.
Any suggestions as to why it’s gone topsy turvey and back to front.Also how much will it cost me to get it fixed? Is it an electrician job or engineer?

Sounds like it’s been wired with reverse polarity.
Power off please if checking.

I don’t recall seeing this light on in the 3 years we have had the oven. This relates to the temperature knob top right of the top panel.
When it’s off, it glows pale dark red which can only be seen in the dark.No heat is emitted from the elements on the roof of the mini oven.When the fan knob is turned together with this temperature knob, it shines bright red as it should and is ON.
Perhaps it has been like this for years and we have never noticed.

Its most likely a neon lamp .and they will glow sometimes with no power on .
