ParticipantBit tricky this, and one for the current indesit engineers out there.
Got a pair of stats on backorder for a customer but after looking at the dryer today I dont think they will be the right ones :s
Any idea what the correct h/p part no. is for a set of heater thermostats for a VTD65A? or a link to the right one off the whitegoods shop pls?
IND code is 95313440000
Its the 2200w-2600w rated element, with just the black and white pair of ELTH stats, which have failed. element circuit is fine. (heavily fluffed up – almost filled a cylinder vac bag with the muck). hoping there hasnt been a spec change that means the whole element assembly requires changing!
this is not the later element which has the 2x black thermostats and what appears to be an ntc as well thats fitted to the 2400w rated vtd60’s
Any help pls!?
Cheers![/u]

Sigh,
You have been asked several times to apply for trade access, There are any number of people on the trade side who will be happy to help you, they will not post in the public forums.
There have been many alterations and modifications to this machine, serial number as well as the commercial code you have given would help.
However, if the original only has one stat +ntc at rear then you only need to refit ntc & toc.

stats that turned up were like-for-like but also included a 3rd stat in the kit which im assuming was for the front? i know if both rear stats were gone you only have to fit them – it was more a case of confirming or un-confirming what i was waiting for was the right part!
problem i had was that my supplier could not inform me for sure which part no for stats would be for that machine, hence being more than happy to get them off of whitegoods… where there was tech advise available!

Iadom is right All it takes is a quick email to admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk giving them your business details. Once authorised, you will then have so much more access to advice and help.

There is tech advice available in the trade forums 😉 you just need to apply for it.
