Model AC 2225 GEKB
Customer complains that freezer door is recently staring to swing open. We’ve checked it out and the hinges are okay. Seems the door seal is not touching at the bottom edge. There are signs of air intake around the bottom near the door “fluffy ice”. The seal looks flattened on the bottom edge. Is this a common fault?
Bradshaws say seal out of stock for 6 weeks. Part number 67003967. Maytag say that it is on stock but can’t offer us a discount.
I’m not convinced it is the seal. It only 4 years old. Any thoughts?
