    Model ZX97/5SI

having problems with the fridge staying cold. will be cold for a week then warm up. turn off for 24 hours then is ok. can anyone help

    please 😕

We have now started stripping the fridge, to only find air ducts, but in the freezer the compartment, the fines are frozen. The air ducts from the freezer front top to the fridge bottom are full of ice, but we can’t get the fin tray out of the freezer top because of the pipe running up the back? this fin tray is all frozen up?

Leave if off and doors open overnight. Then usuing a hair dryer and NO SHARP OBJECTS patiently melt whats left until you can clear the ice.
You may have a control/thermistor/defrost problem but first clear the ice so you can then run again to see if fault is still there.
Blockages can occur through malfunction or maybe the freezer door hasn’t been closed pproperly overnight.
Not sure of the electronics on this so won’t go further but clearing the ice completely should get you going again.
