The cooing fan on this oven keeps running, I have changed the thermostat 818731011/0623 (2 blue & 2 white cables )
have fitted 2 new ones so far, still same problem, customer as given up, but I would like to know why it didnt solve the fault, as anyone else come across this problem. cheers John.Re: Smeg UK80MFX1 range cooker
does it stop if you disconnect the stat?
Pretty sure i had this once and it turned out to be the oven fan motor (ie the one inside the fan element) being shorted to earth. Despite this, the fan motor still worked and did not trip or fuse.
