Fault codes are displayed using the LED’s, apparently, according to rumour…

    H1 : NTC OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT CIRCUIT ( 10000 )
    H2 : HEATER OPEN CIRCUIT ( 01000 )
    H3 : HEATER ALWAYS ON ( 11000 )
    H4 : VALVE TRIAC SHORT CIRCUIT ( 00100 )
    H5 : PUMP OPEN CIRCUIT ( 10100 )
    H6 : MOTOR TRIAC SHORT CIRCUIT ( 01100 )
    H7 : PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE ( 11100 )
    H11 : MOTOR / TACHO OPEN CIRCUIT ( 00110 )

I can see no mention of the error code IL in the technical information I don’t have on that machine.

Damn it Ken, I was about to not post the same info that I didn’t find….

Probably a corruption issue in that case – escaping from the test mode just involves switching off, so it ain’t that.

Could it be the ‘child lock’ set? I know that would be CL but you never know!

cheers , i know the second part is defo an L , got me wondering now about the 1st letter , as it wasnt as defined as the L.
i did mess about with it a little , when you hold start button and switch on …all the leds lit up and a small l appeared in top left display ,

i set prog to spin and it just filled up with water , wouldnt do anything else

Well at least with these Bekos a new module doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Replaced one on a WM6152 recently for similar fault – £25 trade, £45 retail. Having said that, if it doesn’t fix it, you’re lumbered with the part as it’ll likely be sometime before you see another one.
