Hi there guys, right this may seem like a stupid question but i’m gonna ask it anyway before I go and order the wrong part.
Yesterday helped a friend move into a new house and we came to use the oven for the first time. It’s a Zanussi ZDQ695X, we turned it to fan symbol and then up to 200c. after 5mins no heat at all. I thought it might just take along time as i’m used to being spoilt with my Neff.
After another 15mins no heat at all, the fan is spinning away. We used the top oven in the end with no problems.
I’m 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure from this that it’s must be the element thats had it. I see I can buy that from here but just wanted to make sure you guys definatly think it’s that before we order it?Re: Zanussi ZDQ695X no heat
Oh yeah, am i right in saying it probably isn’t the thermostat as we would have just had uncontrollable heat coming out then?

Hi,
Yes, it’s a simple fan element failure by the sounds of it, I’d strongly doubt it was anything else.
This is the fan oven element used in that oven

Thank you very much, will order that up now. Hopefully it’s no harder to fit than our old Bosch one years ago.
