    Amana AC2228HEKB serial no: 126834882J

    Dont look at too many of these, but the start relay has burnt out on this one, will simply replacing it solve the problem or will it need a new compressor?

    Im not that sure about these myself but would be checking resistance on the motor before put a new capacitor on myself.

    Quite a common fault, though I would check comp windings.

    Thanks guys will go back and meter the windings out and check for earth leaks on the compressor.
