Faulty integrated freezer

    My freezer has just packed in and all the food has defrosted.The power is still working and the power buttons are lit up.Please could someone tell me what the prolem is and whther it can be fixed easily enough or should i look at purchasing a new freezer.Thanks Ian Hall

    Can you hear it running?
    Any noise coming from it at all?
    How old is it?

    No i cant hear it running No noise coming from it and its about 4 to 5 years old Diplomat APP6403

    Could be a thermostat or the compressor,you would need a person competent in the use of test equipment to establish the fault.
    Worth invvesting in the visit of an engineer,this site has a facility to find your nearest one.
