Can anybody help?
I need the rubber tube (original was blue) that connects the shampoo reservoir to the head. It’s about 6″ long; 7/16″ OD; 5/16″ ID; and has a spring up the middle to prevent collapsing.
If anybody has this, still lurking in a cupboard, please let me know. It’s for a restoration project at my local museum.

Dick, these are still available new 🙂
Hoover part number 09009044 or 621856 (old part number). They are no longer the reinforced type, just a corrugated semi transparent hose. Priced at £2.39 + VAT from Connect.
I haven’t got one, but I can order if neccessary, let me know.

Isn’t this site brilliant, just 10 minutes from question to answer.
Originally my suppliers, MAS (Qualtex) told me that the part was no longer available, but armed with your part number I asked again and they have now put it on order for me.

I wonder how many times many of us have lost custom due to innacurate information from badly equipped spares wholesalers 😕
