    Hi – does anyone know how to release the knob of the end of the clutch assy without breaking anything ?

    Yep

    Get a large bladed screwdriver 180 degrees apart (starting by the black circle or centre indicator ) and twist/prize off.

    I have had these off before but this was a real tighty and I wondered if I had forgotten something.
