    HI, I HAVE A SAMSUNG SRS2029CVW. i HAVE RECENTLY REPLACED THE EVAPORATER FAN, NOW WORKING,THE THERMAL FUSE AND BOTH THE FRIDGE AND DEFROST SENSORS AND CHECKED THAT THE EVAP DRAIN HOLE IS CLEAR.DEFROST HEATERS ARE WORKING FINE TOO.

    pROBLEM??? THE FRIDGE GOES INTO VACATION MODE (OFF) INTERMITANTLY FOR NO APPARENT REASON.ALSO, THE DIGTAL DISPLAY READOUT CANNOT BE ADJUSTED USING THE CONTROL BUTTONS.
    FREEZER HAS JUST TODAY DEFROSTED.ALL CONTROL SEEMS TO BE LOST.
    I THINK IT MAYBE THE PCB.
    ANY THOUGHTS OUT THERE?

    Have you checked for earth faults?you would need a meggar for this.
    have you tested the defrost heater with a meter?
    The fan doesn’t operate until the evap temp is minus 12c so never runs when you first switch on for several minutes.
    Check pcb’s for any poor/dry/burnt connections
    No need to SHOUT old boy it’s been a tough week !
    Always switch off and unplug before checking anything.
