ParticipantHoover HND615S – 80 freestanding dishwasher. 1000112 0440 1377.
Press the program button (any cycle) and the machine drains. Then it fills to the pressure switch level and the motor starts – then stops and the filling continues. Motor starts, stops, fills, starts, stops ……and so on……. 👿 I disconnected the pressure switches individually (pulling the hoses off, blowing down the hoses to activate them) and no difference. Even disconnecting BOTH didn’t seem to affect the filling / stopping problem. I can distinctly hear a ‘pressure switch’ type clicking in time with the motor starting, but I’m damned if I can find it!! If the machine has a flowmeter what are the pressure switches for? But a flowmeter is silent! AArrrgggghh!!! 😈 I hate these modern Candy machines – they are cr@p!!!
What am I missing? Help please!!!Steve.

I’m sure its on the site somewhere about the module not holding the motor on? I think they even mentioned which component caused it.
Thats not much use for you is it?

I think you may need to look at the Heater Safety Switch (Pt No 41009092) there Steve? That’s the device that protects the heater from lack of water and likely as not it’s that you can hear clicking? 😉
That m/c does’nt have a water inlet flowmeter and water levels are controlled purely via that double pressure switch (Pt No 41009660) which are also prone to failure.
I’ll email you some info when I get a mo. On second thoughts (darn it) you don’t show your email address do you, not to worry…. 🙂

Im pulled one wire off that heater safety switch and it didn’t affect the pulse filling. The strange thing is that this machine fills until the water level touches the bottom rotor. That’s a pressure switch issue or the PCB surely. The pressure switches seem to have no influence on the pulsing even if disconnected with me activating them manually.
Add to that Connect don’t list the PCB…….. 👿
Any other thoughts?Steve.

Cheaper than a PCB too so worth a go I would think?
