    Hotpoint WF000

    machine not ending rinse/spin cyle.

Just carries on until manualy switched off.

Heater looks as if it has been leaking water.

Disconnected heating element Earth and machine stopped as it should after 10 or so minutes, only the door wouldn’t unlock.

Before i disconnected the heater earth i looked at the module (Back left) i disturbed the door interlock wires. They pulled away from the connection block. I re fitted them but wasnt sure which wire went where. Can anyone help? I’m sure this is the reason the door interlock stays locked. There are three wires involved: Black, and two multicoloureds.

I think Earth leakage on the heater was the initial fault and a new element would have solved it! damn wires so tight to get module out of machine though. ended up ripping them out – doh.
