    tumble drying on this machine leaves clothes hot an steamy,machine does let water in to condense steam at the start,but as soon as heater an fan fire up it loses supply? just wondered if any one has come across this fault,suspect a pcb prob myself,but any ideals would be great as they are costly,cheers

    Faulty water inlet valve Jenson. 😉

    Best also to remove the rear half panel and check the condenser matrix is clear of fluff whilst you’re there. 💡

    thanks martin,have changed w.valve a few months back,but if theres no supply to valve it cant be that again,plus it does have a supply at the start for a minute or 2 and does let water thro,but then loses supply?

    is there any fault codes etc

    also agree with martin condensors block up

    you do not say which programme you set it on

    is it set auto dry or timed

    auto dry uses ntc in lower condensor hose to detect humidity try timed dry dont think its in use then

    have scanned manual but if you want it leave email and someone will get it to you
    can do it next week if you pm me

    you’ll probably hang me for suggesting this. the condenser coil is only used for drying. so ONLY if it is a faulty p.c.b why couldn’t you piggy back a supply from the dryer fan then the coil would only be energised while fan was running and never at any other time.

    cheers thats a good idea,the job has fell thro tho,still interested in real cause of problem tho,went again yest and w/valve has a supply till the fan and heater come on,this is on timed t/drying rather than sensor as suggested
