Hi there, i hope someone can help me. My in-laws have a 7 year old Hotpoint BF41 dishwasher that works absolutely fine other than a problem with the door leaking. They had an engineer round who replaced the door seal but that has not solved the problem and he now says the door has probably buckled, is this likely? If so, would the whole door need to be replaced or just certain parts eg the inner part of the door? Having had a quick search for parts, they dont appear to be too readily available and are expensive which makes me wonder if it is really worth repairing? Any advice i can give my in-laws would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Debbie

Check bottom rotor for splits along the seams. Replacement part is HERE.

    Re: Hotpoint BF41 door leak

Same dishwasher, but ours won’t start, and has dirty water lying in the bottom. Have looked in the manual and cleaned all the filters, and there’s no kinks in the drainage or inflow pipes, and the dishwsher hasn’t been tipped backwards (per the manual) – that just leaves “pump is jammed” how do I go about checking that?

    Thanks

Just read there might be a reset button to fix this? Any ideas where it is?

    Thanks
