    Hello,

    My INDESIT W161 washer won’t run on any other program except ‘3’ (60c fast cotton). When I try others, it just sits still with the program light full on – no rapid flashing, no dial clicking round (had those faults previously).

    Does this suggest a control module or eeprom fault? Could it be linked to something else, i.e. pressure switch?

    The pressure valve? Could it be the pressure tube is blocked?

    not expensive at all.. you do know how to use a multimeter?

    Nope, no multimeter. There’s a Inlet valve listed in the UKW Shop HERE … you reckon this could be the culprit?

    Thanks for your help – can’t afford a new machine right now
