    DeDietrich DOP390 single oven. (has the pyroclean function).

    Went to see this a month ago and found the thermal overload(?) on top of the fan chamber under the lid had tripped out. Pushed the little button and reset it. Tested the oven to top heat with no problems. Checked everything apart from the pyro function due to time constraints.
    She has since used the pyro function and the oven has cut out again. I am assuming it’s the same stat that caused the last problem.
    Any ideas why this is happening and how do you cure the fault? Any help appreciated before I call again.

    If its doing it after Pyroclean I would change the temperature probe first, after that if it still happens after Pyroclean function power card might be faulty

    Overheat stat had cut out. Reset it and the oven works fine. If it’s the probe at fault, Connect show 2 for the same machine. Does anyone have part numbers for the probe and the power PCB please?
    Also does the probe control only the pyro function as there is another probe into the top cooling fan plenum as well. Very confusing……. 😕

    I need to identify which probe is which. One goes into the top of the cooling fan chamber and the other goes into the back top corner of the oven itself. Help please!! 😕

    Hi Steve,
    Yes you are correct there are 2 probes, part numbers 74X2322 and 74X3549, Agora doesnt give any info as to which one controls the Pyro Clean function, I suggest you give either Brian Morris or Bill Hanratty a call on 01256 308000 or email morrisb@fagorbrandt.com they are the Technical help guys for De Dietrich appliances. 🙂

    sorry to hijack this thread but I need to replace the main fan element, do you take the entire rear off to access the 2 bolts or am I missing a trick?

    Easiest way is to drill 2 x 12mm holes in the panel where the fan element studs and nuts are located behind then you can get your nutspinner on them.

    Beleive me that is the recommended way by DD technical ❗
