    Hi,

I have a Bosch WFF2000, use Ariel biological powder, wash 4 loads a week, 3 cotton 60 degrees, 1 whites economy 60 degrees. My question is really do I need to do maintainence washes?

I already do a maintainence wash about every 3-4 months with Affresh cleaner.

Also will using Persil bio powder instead of Ariel bio powder cause any build ups of limescale or residue in my machine?

    Thanks very much,

    Thanks Don,

So from what I gather I do not need to do a maintainence wash as often as monthly as I only wash at 60 or above. And always use bleach containing powder. The article says maintainence washing should be done at a minimum of 60, but 90/95 is better, so as I always wash at 60, doing this less frequently should be OK?

If I’m right in thinking (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong), every 3-4 months should be fine?

We do my Mums Siltal more often as she washes at 40/50 so bacteria gets more chance to breed!

Thank you for your help Don, 😀

    Oliver.

PS. What about Persil Bio Vs Ariel Bio?

Always 60 degrees and above and bleach based detergent for everything you wash Oliver?

I would seriously recommend you read this article here.

I’m just old fashioned thats all, 60 works for me, and my clothing isn’t ruined either. My Avatar should tell you how old fashioned I am, Pink Floyd – Dark Side Of The Moon! Also like The Moody Blues!

Thank you Don and Martin for your responses,

    Oliver :salute:
