TBH though all these sites have the same problem, they pay little to the people that actually do the work yet expect a lot for it. Fixya and all those sorts of sites are the same deal really but they do spend loads advertising on Google.
The vast bulk of people seem to ignore them but, like a lot of things on the net, they appear to have carved their own little niche of late.
Having said that, there’s already an online revolution starting on that front. Some sites like that might survive, but I suspect most won’t.
