My mate has one of these machines that occasionally overfills, resulting in the red tap icon on front of the machine flashing. If the machine is turned off and re started, it will continue to fill!
Do these machines have the same system as my old hoover had many years ago, of a plastic vessel with a tube to a pressure switch to detect water level?
Any sugestions what to look for?

Yes, the vessel is fixed to the sump hose using a Jubilee clip. Take off the lower back panel and you can remove the vessel for cleaing. As always, plug out before removing panels.

Hi, looked at machine and found tube to pressure switch split—-will replace.
Blew into pressure switch and only heard 1 click.? The switch has 4 wires to it, and 2 adjustment screws, should there be 2 or more clicks.?
1 click would suggest the machine only has 1 working level….strange.
    Please help
    Thanks

One working level plus flood protection, which is silent.
