ParticipantThis is a bit of a long shot as this is not a popular type of oven being LPG but I am desperate so it’s worth a try !
I bought this new oven and shipped it to my new home in Cyprus. Unfortunately it has never worked and I have already spent approx £400 in replacement of 2 pcb’s.
Stoves will not speak to me as I am not trade and there are no gas electrical appliance engineers in this part of Cyprus.
Does anyone out there have any experience of Stoves LPG Ovens ?
I can call the UK easily but cannot transport the oven back to the UK for diagnostics. I’d be really grateful for any positive feedback.
Thanks

Thanks for your replies. Sorry for the delay but I have been waiting for the last pcb to arrive to see if that fixed the problems. It didn’t !
Re message 2: The main oven worked the first time I tested it but the top oven/grill did not work. The main oven then stopped working too. The lights on the console worked initially but they also stopped working. I have fitted 3 replacement pcbs.
The problems are:
1. No ignition
2. No lights on the console – either the top oven/grill or the main oven
3. Fans come on immediately A/C mains supply is provided to cooker
4. No gas coming through to burnersRe message 3: The actual model name is Stoves 900gra LPG. Model number 050507077. Serial number 30326019. Yes it is a fanned LPG gas oven.
I have now spent over £800 and am thinking of sacking it as just can’t get it to work. Thanks for all your help. Tom

Please remember you can only try this oven with all panels refitted after fitting parts? due to the pressure switch to activate gas valves etc!!!

What do I do with the pressure switch ? Can it be reset ? If so, how do I do this ?
Thanks

ParticipantWith the pressure switch you just need to screw all the back panel down, that means every screw.
Did you buy this cooker as new ? as the serial number is telling me its over 6 years old.

Thanks – I’ll give that a try now.
Yes we bought the cooker as new last year. It was still in its wrapping in the store. We had no idea it was this old until we tried to get parts but by that time I had shipped it to Northern Cyprus ! It’s way too expensive to get it back to the UK to deal with it under warranty so I am left trying to fix it myself. There are no Corgi registered engineers in Northern Cyprus -well none that I can find anyway.
Appreciate your help.
