I’ve been called out to a Bosch WAE243563GB/02 with F21 fault which I understand is motor fault. Replaced brushes and tested motor on another machine (the complex has 4 similar and machines are used heavily) OK. Machine still shows F21 and will not operate. Is there a procedure to reset?
you have to enter the test programme to reset the F21 fault…..but its normally the module that causes thi fault . They suffer from electrical ‘spikes’ and there is a modified board i think.
Anyway , to enter the test programme ,set the selector switch to the 6 o’clock position and whilst holding down the spin speed button , turn the selector switch one click clockwise. after a couple of seconds release the spin speed button . On the first try F21 may still show but if you switch off the machine should be reset.
