    the blasted cooker blows trip on fan oven.no shorts in elements at my wits end,help richard, 🙁

    even though element looks and tests ok,i would try another or disconnect the one thats in, just to be certain its not the element. then try fan motor and switch, something must be going to earth ❓

    as deltra said

    disconnect all elements
    make sure all wires are clear
    turn on see if it trips
    if not reconnect each element in turn till it trips

    dont forget the houhold trip goes out at 30ma but that not on the appliance you are on it is a cumulative figure for the whole house
    so if the rest of the house is leaking 20ma you only need 10ma to trip and that 23K to earth. also if you are using a 9v meter it may not show up at all
