    Hi everybody,

    wonder if you can help?

    AEG Lavamat Turbo 16830.

The Dryer stops around 15 mins into a drying cycle, no error code. When you open the door there has obviously been no heat.

    any ideas appreciated!

Blocked condenser can do this, as can the heater safety tripping. Additionally, there is a sensor in the hose connecting the housing to the tub. It can fails, but more often the wiring breaks. Again, no error code, but the dryer stops. Also worth checking that the solenoid coil on the water valve for the condenser trickle feed is working.

Stay safe – power off if you intend to sort this yourself.

Sorry for the 3 year delay in updating this!

This was the classic deign fault on this machine- when the drum spins over time it fatigues and breaks the orange wires connecting a dryer sensor in the bottom hose.

I reconnected the wires and strengthened them by wrapping black insulation tape around
Also useful to give the clear plastic condenser a good wash out while you’ve got the back of the machine off!

Thanks for help Penguin45 – seems like the forums are full of answers to this particular problem.
