    Hi,

    Our SMEG FC36RX appears to have stopped working.

    We just got back from 3 days away, and the inside of the fridge is room temperature. The freezer section still seems to be working fine however. The electricity indicator is green and the warning light is off. It doesn’t seem as though there were any general electrical problems while we were away (e.g. clocks all fine).

    The fridge wasn’t making any strange noises before we left.

    Any suggestions on what is likely to have gone wrong and how to fix it?

    A bit of an educated guess but it does sound like a pukka refrigeration problem and not a thermostat issue so I’d advise professional help on that one.

    It’s possible that the PCB has chucked it but, I doubt it given the symptoms.
