    Is it possible to replace the wiring in this dishwasher (several of the wires have burnt out at the point where they go from the door into the bottom of the machine)?

    Am I looking at a new machine or would an engineer be able to fix this?!

    Correct repair is to chop out the broken wires above and below the pivot point of the door and replace with new wiring and connectors. Any competent repairer should be able to deal with this.

    Whirlpool do not currently offer a new loom as a spare part.
