been to this d/w and found E3 code = time out on heat, stripped out d/w and checked element found to be Ok, tested back through stats, and wiring, got readings through circuits, then checked for 240v at element on one side got 240v there but obiviously lost the neutral.
Ah Ha, me thinks lost it through the relay on the board Pt No. 082621337, ordered a new PCB assy, and still not heating, 2 things has anybody got any idea’s of fault, most important has anybody got a wiring diagram??.
s/n -pn No. is 444445898. and model is a belling IDW604.

If this has the tube type heater if it gets a coating of lime scale within the tube it can restrict the heating and trigger the fault although it reads OK on the meter..
Have cleaned on once and it was OK but always fit new.Plus check the salt setting and advise the cutomer to ensure softener is not allowed to empty.Re: belling d/washer fault code E3
hi, spimp,no lime scale problems on the m/c’s in my area up north. we have medium to softish water and dont need to put salt in. thanks for the reply.
