Assuming the drum is fine and no socks stuck underneath it and assuming the wiring is sound… …is there any where of proving if its the motor or the module at fault. Other than sticking in a new motor. October 6, 2009 at 9:29 pm #298854 A1engineerParticipant Re: Hotpoint WF840 you will most likely find its a board fault, motors dont usually give the juddering symptom unless the brushes are struggling to make contact. i always keep a good motor in the van to stick in only takes a second to plug in and is easier to check than the board!!
