Hi, I’m having a bit of trouble resetting my TEKA dishwasher. The problem began when the dishwasher sounded as though it had finished its cycle but when i opened it i realised that it had just stuck after an initial rinse. I reset it using the 4 presses within 10 seconds cure. All seemed fine at first but now i have secondary problem whereby the soak led (first) is constant and the strong led (fifth) is flashing. Now the machine will not do anything except beep once when i shut the door. I have tried the 4 presses cure again but to no avail. Any ideas?? Help would me massively appreciated.

Flood protection activated – you may well have water in the tray under the machine. Drain off to re-set. If you get a recurrence, find the leak.

    Power off first, please.

Thanks penguin45, i hoped you’d respond. Any tips on how to access the tray beneath to drain? 😀

Decor door, kick board and lower cover plate off – power off as well. That should let you see into the base of the machine.

thanks for the help, i have looked and the tray is bone dry? Can you think of anything else i should check or is it time to give in and call a (self employed) Teka/smeg engineer 😉
