    Its a Smeg 612. It’s got a bit of dried food gunk and drops of dirty water on it.
    Whatever it is, are they prone to leaking?

    Alternator valve – switches water between the top and bottom rotors.

    I’ve had a couple fail, not seen one leak, though it has to be possible.

    Thanks. It’s the hose that goes in the back of it – it’s leaking a bit. Full of fatty debris, too.
