    Hey Y’all

My Tricity Bendix DH101, is on its last legs.

I have already replaced the IWMS (I think thats what its called)
Thanks to the guidance & help of members on the forum, & I used the forum shop to buy the bits i needed.

Anyhow its been a few years & its doing the same thing again, stopped letting in water, & I don’t see the point in spending out another £70 or £80 quid or more especially as its not particularly good at its job anyway, leaving crap in the cups etc.

So, Do I buy a budget £250 jobbie or spend a bit more.

Its gonna go on the credit card, so I want to keep it as cheap as possible, without buying rubbish.

One last thing, It will get used every day, very occasionally twice a day, as we are a family of 5, & sometimes have the folks over for a meal.

    Any recommendations are gratefully accepted.

(Forgot to add), size is not an issue, I got plenty of room either side of it.

    Regards

    E

    Hi

Bosch produce three ranges the Classixx which is the start range then the Exxcel which will have a few more options with thirteen place settings and use slightly less water. Then at the top of the shop there are the Logixx machines again slightly better energy consumptions and an option of the cutlery tray in the top of the machine to free up bottom basket space and a massive fourteen place settings. Just depends on what sort of budget you are looking at really.

    HTH 🙂

    Hey Don

    Thanks for your reply.

Lets say a budget of around £400.

Curry’s have got the Bosch SGS45C08.

It only has 12 place settings?

From the pictures on the link you gave me it looks like part of the Classixx Range.

I’d rather do a bit better than Entry level for a change, but up in the £600s is too much for me.

Although I wouldn’t use currys to buy from, as I can tend to find cheaper elswhere. Its a good starting point to browse.

    Cheers

    Hi Clint

Classixx range is 12 place, Exxcel is 13 and the Logixx has 14 place settings. For your budget of £400 you would be looking around the SMS63E02 which is 13 place setting.

As for suppliers, Bosch no longer give the .com companies the large discounts like they used to do and local independants are now able to compete more strongly on price. You will also get expert advice, installation service and peace of mind. Take a look at your local Bosch independant dealer you might just be surprised.

    HTH 🙂

Is the SMS63E02 a model you would be happy to recommend?

It`s a good dishwasher suitable for family use with good programme options, it`s kind on the water and electricity usage as well. With it`s two year warranty, yes I would recommend it 😀

    Re: New Dishwasher Recommendations please

or spend a bit extra and get a promotional siemens with a 5yr p&l warranty!

depends whats on offer in your locality. siemens are the premium brother of bosch, and tend to be slower sellers over bosch’s so if you can find a local independant with one in stock, with the promotional warranty, which the shop bought either before april or augusts price rises you could be quids in…

one thing i noted was you listed a bosch sgs45c08, which is a satin silver model.

this is a very light silver, compared to other manufacturers silvers, so it would be very worthwhile seeing it in the flesh before you purchase, which is obviously, where independents are even better over the internet :D:D:D

He changed his mind and is now going for the SMS63E02 😉
