I am looking to buy a new vacuum cleaner but have very little product knowledge.

Is a bagless better than a bagged vaccum cleaner? I think i want a cylinder but will i need to get more attachements than if i was get an upright?

    Thanks

For efficient vacuuming of long hair, choose a model that comes with a hose made out of slippery plastic. It will allow for the free movement of vacuum strands of long hair, whether pet or human. A large diameter would also be essential to allow for easy inspection. The HOOVER Linx Cordless StickVacuum is an excellent choice for removing long hair. The cordlessvacuum design also touts a swappable battery design. This convenient feature means that if the battery runs out, you can replace it with another one.

which cleaner to buy is dependant on usage and your situation

do you have large carpet areas in which case an upright is better

if you have lots of hard floors then a cylinder model should be fine but it vwill be more hard work on carpeted areas

as for bagged or bagless then both do a good job but we get lots of bagless cleaners in for repair where the clients think all you have to do is empty the container when in truth you have to remove and clean the filters on a regular basis

Upright cleaner look at Sebo, German unit bagged cleaner with a good build quality

cylinder cleaners then look at numatic. You will have seen lots of these with the smiling face on them

By the chance, I visited this question. I’m not sure you found the suitable vacuum cleaner or not. Based on my experience, I can tell you if possible try to find the vacuum cleaner with budget 200$, not too noise, strong sucking power, can vacuum on floor, sofa, corno. In earlier, I bought Shark after check out that, I forget what is the model.

Mod edit, I have deleted your spurious link which could not be reached.
