‘e2’ is fridge evaporator sensor i thought? not a replacement part. If you fit a new main pcb [behind the facia] that cures the problem [sensor bypass sort of thing]
just checking out on bsh web site. what does sensor part no. 031733 do (situated on left near salad box)? I take it the sensor thats faulty and causing the E2 error is separate and buried in the bowels of the fridge(?)…
E2 is the evapourator plate sensor and is only accessible if you hack into the backwall. The posting about replacing the module is the correct solution.
