    Hiya,

I brought a flat with an integrated Indesit APM6855 fridge freezer in it.

The fridge broke and I’ve given up the ghost defrosting the freezer to get it working. So I need a new one ASAP.

I’m struggling to get the dimensions of the fridge freezer so I can order a new one and be confident it will fit in the space. It’s an MFI kitchen.

I think the cabinet dimensions are: 179 – 181cm height, 57 cm depth and I’m not sure on the width.

Can anyone recommend an integrated fridge freezer to fit this? The cheaper the better since they don’t seem built to last these days.

    Thanks

    Liz

:rolls: Its not likely to last if you only want to buy cheap, you really do get what you pay for.

Don is the man with all the dimensions at his fingertips, a bit late for him now, no doubt he will give you some ideas in the morning.

Thanks for that. I hear what you say about getting what you pay for, I am discovering that builders go for the cheapest.

Hopefully Don will give me some advice tomorrow.

Aggravated by the fact that the vast bulk of built in or integrated products aren’t installed correctly as whoever installs them usually can’t find a way to follow simple instructions. :rolls:

Look at the Liebherr built in range.

If you don’t go for something decent like that you may as well buy anything as it’ll most probably be made in the same place as everything else, with the baggage that brings. Most of it will be some Merloni clone, Siltal or Chinese… all made to a price to achieve the “cheapest” solution for builders and kitchen fitters. Different badges, different prices, same rubbish.

The biggest market for integrated appliances is with new homes and new kitchens, the replacement market is very, very small therefore, when you price to builders and kitchen fitters (NOT the actual customer) price is everything. Quality means nothing until there’s a problem.

    Hi Liz

I`m assuming by the model no. you have a Hygena and not an Indesit?

Most manufacturers produce built in refrigeration that will fit in your housing. The only thing to remember is the split on the existing machine is 50:50 fridge to freezer, you will need this to ensure that your existing wooden doors will fit.

If you measure the internal height I think you will find it`s around 177cm. In which case the following recommendation will be correct 😉

Our best seller in your size is the Neff K4204 which is the right size and split.
